We are a team of experienced approvals professionals. General Manager Des Ede has 30 plus years of electrical safety compliance experience, previously with the Electrical Safety Office of the Queensland Government. We have a committed team of professionals from both the technical and administration perspective who are all focussed on getting your approvals done correctly and quickly.
We have all the accreditation:
SAA Approvals is accredited by the Joint Accreditation Service of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ) as a third party certification body and is gazetted by the New South Wales (NSW) Office of Fair Trading Department of Commerce as a Recognised External Approvals Scheme (REAS). This JAS-ANZ accreditation and acceptance by NSW as a REAS allows us to issue Certificates of Approval for declared electrical equipment as defined under NSW legislation. Also our JAS-ANZ accreditation provides us with the ability to issue certificates for other products demonstrating compliance with the appropriate standards. For non-declared electrical products, the certificate is called a Certificate of Suitability.
Our certificates indicate the equipment is proven to comply with the safety requirements of the applicable Standard/s and will be fully accepted throughout Australia and New Zealand.
